1L1V1NSylvie's Post-Modern Life June 10 Maybe the last presentation at SHCMThat was June 5th I went to SHCM having the defence of my graduation thesis, which had the potential to become my last presentation there. After a long time, we'll appreciate our teachers and someone who recorded it for us. How many presentions have been put during FD Era and SHCM Era? If I could record them all in mind, I would see how many progress has been made. Two high-school classmates are coming to FD due to their post-graduation study, learning laws and accounting. I deeply discovered that we can get rid of most things we seem to care about, but not a pushing will.
And, this also means a begining of my real social life, which most interests me by having no idea of the way in front. February 10 Lantern Festival 2008&2009Now I'm spending lantern festival alone in Shanghai, that usually happened in the last three years. A few days ago when I was at home, I crocheted a pair of shawls for Jerry and myself as well, which are shown as below in the pic I made for memory. When producing the gifts, I can see the products fullfilled step by step. All in all, it took me almost a week to make them by my own hands. Here to thank Jerry's poem sent late this day, I rang back and post his work on the pic.

It's a little bizarre why we human beings are too lazy to miss sth that really makes others happy. The only way to access values one's bravery and coherence that I deleted each file related to the past as a result. I got an IBM lap-top but of absoulutely out-dating model(T23~ORZ) for temperary use and will exchange to a T42 next month. The one who can bear this extremly low-pace lap-top would have anything done in sufficient patience and keep it going smoonthly. After all, I have nothing to do over the day except playing with the IBM Lotus Notes, a new system to share database and manage Emails. With the time went on, I became more and more proffesional on the pc operation, of course not so skilled as Jerry did. I found it urgently needy to learn new skills at the position that I stand on, which is also a corner of life, including pc operations, foreign languages, coummunication skills and the ability to analize the situation of an problem, esp. in finance. To fill up the gap, I should follow Jerry to put everything in order and do each as planned. We all can't say "I'm not goot at study." which always allows me to fall asleep during reading/listening comprehention. November 19 Alan MulallyI got to know who Alan Mulally is just a few minutes ago, a person send Email twice or more per week to us. He was so low-keyed that not until his name and photo appeared on the internet these days, I didn't find him rightly the CEO of Ford, Ford Global. Alan, what a simple name that I always ignored his Emails. However, after recogonizing the Big 3 are making their effort to asking bailout from government, I got back to check each of Alan's Emails, throughout which I found encouragement filled, saying "Today, I begin two days of representing our Ford team in Washington, D.C., during hearings to discuss potential U.S. government support of the auto industry. My message is that Ford has a plan, we are making progress on our plan, and we are producing the vehicles the people really want and value. " with a short signature Alan at the end. There are surveys asking people to join at a host of websites, to identify whether the taxpayers would like to devote their money on these declined automakers. It can be seen that more voters refuse to do so than the suport ones with a few not sure. Why would they refuse? Put simple, visualization. The US government has brought out $700 billion to survive the banks and Big 3 just asked $25 billion out of this 700. If the bailout can't be processed, that means millions of individules lost their jobs and no-doubtly use up the obiligation fees of the State, which are equal to the pay-out of taxpayers, themselves. On the other hand, if the government agree to intervene this disaster task, then what a huge number of industries are waiting for his help and how many times the $700 billion can be devided, that even makes Obama keep silence. November 17 Calm DownOne became determined when he is on the track. Regarding what WAS going on, people have no assessment of what IS going on. Once and once again, I assume that I could stay just for a while, only to find what I wanted an absoulutely different thing. I have to say being failed on the competition I've enrolled in. All that caunsed by my hesitating to leave A for F, I won't let, happen a second time. So, I must say bye at the right point this time. Had I been in that position, the lucky dog would have walked toward me. Inability to appear proffesional enough, a long step is waiting for me to process. "Can I get the leaf on this height?", which usually asked in my own heart, became effective after the register. Next next week, perhaps I would check in in another group, giving up all my dreams and to act as a common person. What do I want? What is my interest in deed? I even don't know or only aware that, what is popular and really challenged, is the choose of mine. I'll never give up my dream despite the barriers in the way. Acturally, just hoping not to move forward alone. |
